From there Michelle set off early and travelled abroad to put her years of training in to practice. Michelle was fortunate enough to tour Asia with the Peter Pan Live Shows and because of this she was cast in the Bugs Bunny Follies that toured Australia. The tour was a great success and Michelle received high praise from the producers and choreographers alike. Little did she know that this praise would ultimately land her the much sort after lead role of Pebbles Flintstone in the Flintstones On Parade which toured throughout America.
Upon returning to her hometown of Perth, Western Australia Michelle started choreographing for some of W.A’s premier events. These corporate events included the Hopman Cup’s Annual New Years Eve Ball, Tourism Commission, Australian Bicentennial Exhibition and The W.A Mining and Energy Week. Michelle was then approached to work at the Wrest Point Casino in Hobart, Tasmania, to take on the role of head Choreographer and producer. Many offers and subsequent amateur musical shows followed as Michelle began producing and choreographing such hits as Oliver; Singing in the Rain, The Wizard of OZ and finally The King and I. The famous Civic Theatre Restaurant in Perth invited Michelle to choreograph many of their evening shows delighting audiences.
Being a believer of giving back to the community, Michelle also donates her time and talents to staging shows for local T.V stations, Channel 9 and Channel 7 in their quest to raise money for special needs children in W.A. It’s not all serious work for Michelle. She has also had fun being a regular cheerleader for W.A’s football team The West Coast Eagles.
